1956 Arnolt-Bristol Roadster in Rossa Corsa with Tan seats. This rare sports car of the early post-war period. has a rich history in racing. including avid participation in SCCA events.

This amazing car is equipped with a

225 bhp . 265 cu. in.

OHV V-8 engine

mated to a four-speed manual transmission. All from a 1956 Corvette. It was the HOT upgrade for the period adding more power making this car incredibly competitive for racing. It also makes it ideal for Vintage Touring with the power needed to keep up with more powerful cars of the time and changing terrain. The suspension and braking is comprised of an independent front suspension with transverse leaf spring. live rear axle with radius arms and torsion bars. and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 96. 25 in.

This was one of five Arnolt-Bristols originally fitted with Rudge knock-off wheels. though they no longer accompany the car. Original Bristol steel wheels. caps. and center logos have been sourced and fitted. The brake drums are the original finned units. Michelin X tires. original equipment for the car. have also been sourced and mounted. All blackout and brightwork has been redone. and its racing plaques have been replaced on the passenger dash. as shown in period photos.

Total Arnolt-Bristol production was 142 cars. including a few coupes. Many. like this one. worked hard on the race track. so survivors seldom come to market. This example. with a meticulous restoration and period-correct Corvette replacement drivetrain. represents a very uncommon opportunity-and plenty of power to burn.

The successful high bidder is required to submit a 10% deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. No sale is final until a 10% deposit is in our possession. Failure to submit said deposit in the provided time frame shall represent a voluntary forfeiture of the right to purchase said vehicle.

The vehicle will then be released for sale to other parties and Hunting Ridge Motors Inc. reserves the right to seek financial restitution for the fees incurred in the re-listing of said vehicle and to file complaints with EBay which may result in disciplinary action and negative feedback.
