1964 Bristol 408
This superb Bristol 408 is fresh to the market for the first time in 44 years.
Supplied new by Anthony Crook Motors Ltd and sold to the managing director of Norman Isherwood & Company Ltd in Bolton (a radiator & heat exchanger manufacturing company for the automotive industry later to be bought out by Marston Radiators Ltd who still manufacture for the automotive industry today).
The second owner (from Clifton in Bristol) was a Mr Sydney Newman who owned the 408 from 1965 until he sold it back to Anthony Crook Motors in 1971.
Anthony Crook then sold the car later that year to Mr David Duxford.
Mr Duxford was to retain ownership until he died and passed the Bristol to his daughter who sold the car to me in 2013 (some 42 years in one family ownership).
Finished in champagne with black roof. black leather & black carpets its appearance is truly stunning!
