Dry Stored For Thirty Years

We are a specialist restorers of early Triumph motor cars this TR4 has just arrived from the USA it is in need of restoration. However we put a battery on her and added fuel checked the ignition. hanged oil etc and hey presto she fired up with perfect oil pressure and runs sweet after 30 years of slumber.

We buy ALL our cars with a view to restore each of them. and we will with this one however we are busy for the next several months with other projects.

We have decided to offer her for sale.

We purchased her from a 91 year old gentleman who had owned her since 1966 he decided in 1983 that he would renovate her and like so many people who have the best intentions he never got around to it he decided to sell her whilst he "Was still around"

As I have said the engine is VERY GOOD the clutch is inop we think to slave cylinder and brakes are poor

We have restored many TR. and the MOST IMPORTANT thing is that the car is complete as even though EVERYTHING is available you tend to think (from experience) I will buy new from the catalogue this is not the way forward everything is very simple and most parts will go again.

The beauty of this car is that it is 100% steel and the chassis is remarkable one of the best i've seen after a long slumber. bviously as can be seen the paint is shot and the body needs restoration but if we were doing the job we would repair 80% of body panels and buy retro front valance and 2 sills.

The interior is complete  and only needs carpets and a TR Shop interior refurb kit plus 2 seat covers less than £400 for everything

The hood and frame is complete needs clear panels or new for £129

This is a very good example of a FAST APPRECIATING MODEL

We can advise on RHD conversion which is very easy we made all the mistakes that everybody does on the first one. we can now do one in less than 2 days

If the car sells we can advise on anything needed and have many parts if needed but as i have said this is 100% complete beware of missing and wrong parts fitted.

We are unable to do a complete resto but if buyer wants us to get car fully operational (mechanics)  MOT  and REGISTER AND TAX car this can be done by our mechanic shop (at extra price)

We have paid all import taxes and have Title. UK VAT nova Document in hand

When car is MOT'd you simply Send with DVLA V55 and Cheque for £55 and you will get 1964 UK reg number and 12 months FREE TAX
