1977 International Scout II - 76K Original miles - 345 V8, 4X4 for sale
Current customer rating:
1977 International Scout II. 345 V 8. 4 speed with granny gear. 4 X 4. Power steering. power brakes. cruise control. A/C. Factory stereo. CB radio straight out of the 70's and a Roll bar. Gas tank skid plate. Heavy duty bumpers. The top has never been off. It also has 76 K original miles.
This Scout had the same owner from 1980 to 2013. and only driven to Colorado from Oklahoma for a 2 week fishing trip every summer. Then parked in a garage when not in use. I'm sure it got some other use. but this is what I was told. Has a newer paint. The engine runs good with no smoke or strange noises. Does not leak anything. Has tons of power. Drives good down the road. I'm not going to say its rust free. but it has very little and its hard to find.
The Scout is not perfect. There are some things that need attention. The clutch most likely needs adjusting. as it only operates at the bottom 3 rd of the pedal. Does not slip. Goes into gear good except reverse has some grinding to get it in. The turning signals don't work. I have not checked to see what it takes to fix. but I did see a flasher fuse in the glove box. The gas gauge doesn't work either. The A/C compressor has the power wire disconnected (I don't know why) If you connect a wire from the battery to the A/C compressor it works. but needs recharged. And finally the two off road lights on the front are new and are not hooked up. I can't think of anything else.
This scout comes with a second set of chrome wheels and a factory service manual and the original owner's manual.
