This has been restored / rebuilt over the last 3 years.

New parts fitted include:

Whole brake system from pedal to disc. Dual circuit m/cylinders. Coopercraft front brakes. XJ 6 rears. Braided lines.
Front and rear Spax shocks
Wheels. tyres. hubs. spinners. tyres.
Lightweight battery.
Brooklands screens.
Wiring loom with modern fuse boxes.
Immobiliser with keyless ignition.
Interior modified to take proper seats. with new carpets and alloy panelling.
Headlights.
Lower steering column with spherical support bearing.
Alloy radiator with electric fan.
Electronic ignition. distributor. leads and plugs.
Air filters.
Alloy petrol tank. petrol pump.
Water pump.
Lightweight geared starter.
Alternator with ribbed belt conversion.
Heavy duty engine mounts.
Braided camshaft oil feed pipes.

Other work includes

Overdrive overhauled.
Carbs overhauled and ultrasonically cleaned.
New clutch including all new hydraulics.
Modified cylinder head and cams.
Body modified to include bootlid.
Chassis modified to give more footroom around pedals.
Ceramic coated tubular exhaust manifolds.
Trigger handbrake.
Headlamp shells. radiator grille etc re chromed
Spin on oil filter.

Loads of other stuff I have probably forgotten.

It is a great car to drive. recently set up on a rolling road - more for torque than outright power. Approx 240 bhp and 240 lb/ft torque.

Good figures as most stock engines are around 140 bhp. Forget the old Jaguar claimed figures!!

Hi, I am looking for a kougar for the road and to hill climb , is on the road, ready ,to drive home in,how would you prefer payment is there any jobs to door completely finished , i amin the middle of selling some land , I live in Shropshire so rather than bring a trailer , I would travel down by train and drive it home.
