In the world of replicas, copies, so called re-creations this particular motor car has.... "something"....I started this project almost 20 years ago with the aim of re-creating a "toy" to enjoy every now and again.........after all the usual rubbish that life throws at you, I finally got there 2 years ago ! Correctly registered as a 1953 XK 120 Roadster using the old rules from years ago. The shell is bolted to a modified 120/SE 6 frame with added out riggers and boxed sill sections............inner wings are steel.........firewall is steel, rear bulkhead is steel and all the strengtheners are purpose made. I had the body tub/wings/rear tub made from glass fibre and the doors are timber framed clad in fibre glass. The finish is superb. As you can make out from the images I have used genuine XK parts, it is trimmed in hide and the instruments are the real deal..............powered by a 6 cylinder Ford engine which will probably dismay some of you................but you have'nt heard it !!! nor driven it !!!Turn the key, press the starter and the noise is without doubt incredible.............there is more to this car than I can write here..............a fascinating project from start to finish..............Sensible conversation always welcome.............texts and messages asking "wots yer best price M 8" will be ignored.............serious buyers pick up the phone................Delivery at cost....thanks for your interest......................07960 870446
