1985 M1028 CUCV Military shelter carrier truck and S-250 shelter.  EMCOMM

Great 4X4 bug out vehicle or amateur (ham) radio

Truck has only 27. 00 miles powered by a 6. 2 liter diesel mated to a turbo 400 transmission and NP205 transfer case.

Dana 60 axle up front

Corporate 14 bolt axle out back with Detroit locker and 4. 56 gearing

Like new 255/85R16 B. F. Goodrich Mud Terrain tires with less than 800 miles

Tires are 2 inches taller than stock tires giving it a higher cruise speed

New brake cylinders. shoes. calibers and pads

New brake booster

New power steering pump

New belts and heater hoses

New batteries

Newly installed dash mounted 12 volt power outlet and manual glow plug timer override switch

Rifle racks are in place

Blackout lighting (IR) is in operational condition

In the bed is the intended cargo. the S-250 shelter with freshly painted interior walls and ceiling

New 5. 00 BTU air conditioner

Custom made table that converts into a queen size bed platform

For the amateur radio enthusiast the shelter is EMP and RFI shielded. I installed a pass-through antenna So 239 U. H. F. connector along with field phone binding posts and A. C. power umbilical.

The shelter has a built-in power panel with voltage and current meters. fully breakered circuits and operating blackout switching.

Great condition inside/out army truck for its age. no rust. small dent in hood (have to look for it)

Truck came from Ft. Huachuca. AZ

It is rare to find a M1028 truck with the S-250 shelter.   This makes a great combo for camping. ham radio events. EMCOMM. nbsp;bugging out. parades or just good 'ol fun.

I will include in PDF format the Manuals for the M1028 and S-250/G and the FM24-18 Tactical radio communications. Easier to plate and insure same as Chevy C/K 30


The truck will only be sold to U. S. Citizens and can not be exported.
