Toyota Land cruiser 1987 HJ 60 ute chop project This has been a project for the last year now. but due to new job i have been working away jobs and wont be able to put the time into it. The cruiser has mid 300 thousand klms on it. but on its second 2 h diesel motor which was a low 200 thousand klm motor from a wreckers. (fuel shut off valve needs to be refitted) Has a new clutch and master cylinder in it. clutch needs to be bleed. Also new radiator pipes colant and oil filter/oil(needs to be topped up. ost some when oil filter didn't seat properly) I chopped the cab. welded in 1. 6 mm steel rear wall had it bent and welded it in with top hat supports along rear wall to mimic factory ute cabs. Then i grafted a rear window and surround from a tf rodeo so it reatains a easy replaceable window and wont leak. I have started the body work but still needs to be finished and painted. passenger side needs to be replaced as i cut the original damaged section out. Also needs new metal welded inside the cruiser on the passenger side floor. its a 2-3 cm x 15 cm. I stripped most the body deadener out of the foot wells as i was planing on re-sound deadening the whole floor. Has two brand new exide n 70 l/n 70 exl(for second battery) Cruiser needs a new windscreen. new vinyl floor and time. (all i can think of at the moment) The cruiser will come on chrome split rims with skinney cooper st's or i will sell with the 35/75/r 15 maxxis trepadors at additional price to the auction It is located at my parents house in langwarrin vic and i can organize viewings which i highly recommend as this is a project car. Is currently registered(expires 15/1/14) but selling no rwc as it hasnt got engineers for the ute chop any questions feel free to ask. cash on pickup
