This 1955 M-123 truck. tractor. 10-ton. 6 x 6 is part of the G-792 series.
It has been converted over to a tanker from being a hauling truck.
The vehicle was manufactered by Mack from 1955-57.
This particular model is M 123 FSN 2 with Le Roi T-H 844 V 8 gas engine.
Engine produces 297 hp 2600 rpm .
Transmission is constant mesh Mack TRD XT 72 5 fwd. 1 rev.
Transfer case Mack constant mesh 2 speed integrated with transmission.
Front axle is Mack triple reduction.
Rear axles are Mack double reduction.
Differentials are Mack 10:1.
This is approximately a 16 ton drivable "BEAST!" with a tow load rating of 120. 00 lbs highway and 80. 00 lbs off highway.
The winches and fifth wheel were removed for tank.
The unit has 857 hours and 5. 00 miles.
