Jaguar SS100 Recreation by Suffolk cars.

We have been commissioned be a very good customer of our's to sell this lovely example of the Jaguar SS100 Built and registered in 1981 On a Jaguar coupe chassis. 

Superbly finished in Red And lavished with chrome all detailed with black board runner strips and black roof to white spoked steel wheels all making for a superb looking jaguar roadster.

The interior is finished with ivory white leather to wooden dash surround and chrome detailing to clocks and doors, wooden steering wheel and black carpets. 

The Jaguar is in superb condition and has truly been cherished. I have driven the car and the drive is very good, the engine pulled strong and sits down and purrs when cruising, nice firm and easy gear change from the 4 speed gear box and the car stops lovely with the front and rear brake discs, a very nice example.

The car belongs to friend whom has been a genuine vintage car enthusiast for the past 50 Years, unfortunately due to health he can no longer drive the car. He has alway's been involved in cars as is the founder of Pebley Beach Suzuki main dealer franchise. Recently the owner had Suffolk cars collect the car to sell on his behalf, within a few weeks he was contacted and informed that they had gone into liquidation and to collect the car. At this time the owner did not get the large supporting file of paperwork back with the car and has now been seen to be lost and we cannot retrieve it after many emails and phone calls. We can get service schedules from Pebley beach and the local garage Ellisons as they have maintained and kept the car Mot'd and serviced within his ownership for the 9 Years, we have nothing prior to this. I can assure the car is very good mechanically..

The Jaguar was built by Suffolk cars to a very good standard and as close a replica of the SS100 that i have seen. This truly is charming and very nice 100 Recreation. Powered by a Jaguar 4.2 Strait Six engine coupled with a 4 speed gearbox with overdrive. Jaguar rear axle and differential along with front and rear brake discs. The SS Also comes with a black roof that is in superb condition along with the side windows and removable side deflector windows.

We have managed to track down some more information on the SS. The car was built in 1995 From a donor XJ6. Then sold to Don Scott. Was then purchased back by Suffolk in 2001 and used for 2 Rally's in France and Corsica and driven to Lech in Switzerland in 2003. Sold again in 2006 To Boyd Stokes who shipped the car to New Zealand for a 3000 Mile rally on the south coast, he kept the car until 2010 When he sold to Mike Hallows whom kept the car until 2013. He then Sold to Roger the present day owner.

A lovely example and certainly worth taking the time to look if you are in the market for such a car.
