1969 J.C Midge TRIUMPH HERALD/SPITFIRE SPECIAL BASED AROUND 1930 SPORTS CAR for sale

Aluminium bodied Triumph Special first built some years ago. I purchased Last year with  rebuilt engine completely with new oil and fuel pump. new camshaft rods etc and oversize pistons. Crank ground engine is the 1500 spitfire unit with twin 11/4 SU carbs. The Midge is fitted with 13inch wire wheels so the top speed is not terrrific but believe me at 70 mph you think you are jet propelled and the accelleration is more than brisk. This car will not win any concours prizes but it is just about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on. everyone shouts and cheers as you drive through any town and you are guaranteed an audience wherever you go. I am very loathe to sell but I need the space and I really do not have time to play as much as this little car deserves. Engine and running gear all fine. the wiring is a bit of a jumble and could do with tidying up.
