Here we have an old classic Vauxhall Viva GT that I am selling for a friend who has owned it for about 30 years and has spent the last 10 years stood in a garage un touched.

My friend has been into Rallying about 35 years and is a motor sport scrutineer who unfortunately has cancer and is sad to see his old classic Rally car go.

The other day we got it out of the garage for the first time in 10 years and we have fitted a new £90 battery to it and started it up it does misfire a bit until you get the engine warmed up. And we moved it around a bit and drove it across my friends driveway so we started it and stoped it quit a few times but now it seems asthough the starter motor is a little tempromental and now sometimes it will start and sometimes it wont but the engine is free to turn and as I say it does seem like the starter playing up.

The chassie is solid it has slight rust on the rear arches but not much at all

Now I will list all the upgrades that my friend has told me that it has had:

*The engine was originaly a 2. 000 but has been modified with a different crankshaft and is now a 2. 300.

*Strengthened front axle assembely

*Uprated springs

*Bilstein shockers all round

*Alloy sump gard

*Alloy wheels

*Vauxhall ventora front brakes

*Heavy duty discs and pads

*Negi camber top wishbones

*Chassie strengthened plate at rear

*Rear fire walled

*Exhaust manifold Raleigh type

*Twin 45 del auto's carbs complete with manifold

*GT2 camshaft

*Close ratio gear kit

*Laminated windscreen

*Battery moved to boot

*Air horn kit

*Internal and external master switch

*Trip meter kit

*Spot light wiring and relays

*Modified fuel tank in boot

*Map light

*Fuel pipe routed inside car

*Full harness 3inch belt kit's

*bucket seats

*Plumed in and hand held fire extinguishers

*Full role cage

*Rear suspenshion arms are boxed in

*Modified radiater

I hope the car goes to a good home and if anybody has any questions please ask and feel free to come and have a look at the car my friend lives only 5 miles down the road from my item location and if you have any real indepth questions about the history of the car then just ask and I can send you my friends phone number.

one thing I forgot to mention the number plates on the car are not the correct ones as they were put on for a show that my friend took it to and a question that I have been  asked a number of times already is for the chassie number and to now weather it is registered on the v5 as a gt or is just a gt lookalike and the anser to that is it is a genuine Viva GT and is registered as a GT and the genuine chassie and reg is

Chassie:  9371180167199
