VERY RARE 1961 Vauxhall Cresta PA. Holden Australia built and re-fitted with a period 3.3L straight 6 Holden Red Engine and Holden Trimatic gearbox. Whilst not in perfect or show room condition, it is in very good all round condition throughout for a 60 year old car.The starting price is the reserve, so if you bid you own it. Bids from buyers with a 0 rating won't be accepted and will be cancelled unless you contact me first.This is a very sought after model in a gorgeous blue and white colour combination, there are very few of these left on the road in Australia, when last did you see one ? I bought this car a year ago and put it back on Historic plates to drive and enjoy, which I have done, but now it's time to move it on so I can get another car which I've always had my heart set on. It was previously restored approximately 10 years ago, and still looks very good throughout, if anything it could do with a closed door respray as there are a few chips and imperfections in the paint, but it definitely passes the 6ft inspection.  It is a unique and gorgeously shaped sedan which turns heads and gets a lot of comments and questions wherever it goes. Very solid and straight rust free body, with no dents or damage. It's engine, gear box, new drive shaft, updated cooling system and gearbox oil cooler were all apparently re-done prior to me purchasing it. Since I've had it, it's had a major service and had a new oil pump, new water pump, new speedo cable and various gaskets, bushes etc installed. It runs and drives very well with plenty of power and is very comfortable. The Interior including carpets, seats, dash, headlining, door cards etc all in very good condition with no tears, damage or stains. All stainless and chrome in good condition as can be seen in the pics. The only issues are the driver side sun visor and the springs to hold the bonnet open are missing, the fuel and temperature gauges are a bit erratic, other than that everything is there and working. It is currently on non transferable historic registration. Must be seen to be appreciated for a car of this age. Included in the sale are all the workshop manuals and a boot full of odds and ends for the car. Would suit a collector, but would also make a great, comfortable daily driver.
