For auction. my 1971 Triumph Stag auto. I bought this car some 5 years ago. however recently the car has stood in my garage and rarely come out.

This stag comes with a fabulous. comprehensive history. from day one. The car is registered the 1 st January 1971 as such it is tax exempt. The car is MOTd until December 2014.

The stag has a 3 litre Ford Essex engine. the original engine was replaced with this brand new unit by Hurley engineering in 1979 and comes with bill of sale. The engine has covered a genuine 22. 96 miles.

This car is powerful and runs beautifully and has never let me down. The chrome work is excellent and the leather interior is in similarly good condition although the drivers seat recline handle will need to be reattached. There is no rips or tears apart from a slight fault on rim of driver's seat.

The paintwork has a great shine (old English white) however the Stag is 43 years old and has some body issues. the worst being the passengers' front wing. This being so. in my opinion. it is nothing that detracts from the overall look of the car. The mohair hood and frame are in very good condition (slight tear in the right hand side of the hood due to my lack of knowledge as to how to lower it when I purchased the car).

Since owing the car I have replaced the power steering rack. The differential has been totally overhauled. New rear shock absorbers have been fitted as well as a new heavy duty battery. Both started motor and alternator have been reconditioned. New plugs. leads and oil. amongst other things.

If at all possible please come and view before bidding. I have tried to be very honest about the condition of the car. Please note you are bidding to buy. not to look.
