1966 Ford Mustang Removable Fastback Roof, NO RESERVE, Restomod, Custom, 1967

This car will be the "talk of the town" and turn heads everywhere you go! Taking just over 700 hours to complete. replacing the majority of the hoses. weather stripping. seals and gaskets this amazing car is practically brand spanking new! The floor boards are original and have absolutely zero rust. The only rust on the car was in the rear quarter panels which have been professionally replaced.

Motor: Rebuilt 1966 289 with only a few miles on it cylinder re-bore. new cam bearing. valve job. heads were resurfaced. new pistons. rings. rod-main-cam bearings. gaskets. oil pump. freeze plugs. camshaft. tappets and timing set (receipt included) In addition it has Brand new Holly 600 electric choke carb and Wiend Stealth intake manifold. upgraded to a single wire HEI distributor.

It is all cooled down by a brand new 3 row aluminum radiator to keep her cool in the hot summer.

The transmission is a rebuilt top loader 4-speed. shifts perfect.

Body: Shirmin House of Kolor Paint and Klear coat was used. Orion silver and Meteor Maroon stripes. The top is made of fiberglass with the lightweight Lexan window. it weighs approx. 50 lbs. It is sealed at all points but I wouldn't recommend washing it with a pressurized hose. This car started off as a rust free coupe with no indications of any accidents. The frame is beefed up with inner and outer reinforcement kits and is solid. If you would like to see a link to how this is done. let me know.

Wheels:

Brand new 225 x 45 x 15 U. S. Mag wheels with BF Goodrich Tires. Brand new disk brake conversion with dual master cylinder.

Custom Interior: The seats are custom-made black sport seats with red stitching and suede inserts.

They look stock at first glance but they fit you like a modern seat. The seatbelts are Shelby style wide racing belts. The stereo is a Route 66 classic design with a custom MP 3 attachment accessible through the ashtray.

Although most of this car has been rebuilt. it is still over 40 years old and is being sold “AS IS” with NO warranty or returns. I'm sure whoever wins this car will have a blast with it. This car is also being advertised locally. so I have the right to end the auction early if it is sold locally. Transportation is the responsibility of the purchaser. but I heard that e Bay has some recommended transporters. A non-refundable $500 dollar deposit to Pay Pal is required with-in 48 hours of the auction close. with the balance paid with-in 10 days of auction close. Car will be released once funds have cleared and been verified. Car will be stored inside until picked up.

I probably wouldn't be able to afford what you need out of this but I would love to take a look at it.
