1971 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler. 1 of the 353 Spoilers made in 1971. Marti Report is a 1 of 1 car. C Code non ram-air 429 cj. C 6 auto. 3:25 Posi 9 Inch. Code 3 red with vermillion interior. originally sold in Utah then spent several years in the dry Las Vegas area car now in Oklahoma with same owner since 2000. restored in 2004. looks just as fresh now as the day it was completed. everything new or rebuilt. 500 miles since resto. never any rust on car. original 429 cj block was cracked so replaced with a standard D 1(1971) 429 block that was bored . 030 over. but all other components are cobra jet:rods. eads. anifolds. tc. went with scj type solid lifter cam and scj intake with Edelbrock Carb. have original cj intake and Qjet carb that goes with car. Harland Sharp roller rockers. 2 1/2 aluminized Flowmaster 40 series. have factory build sheet. Marti report. and all receipts of parts and work done. car is registered in Cyclone registry. had to go with 70 Cyclone door panels 71's are a hard find. extra nice 71 grill goes with car also. some of you Cyclone. Torino. and Mustang guys may know Steve in Oklahoma City. he helped some in the restoration of this car. hate to sell but too many cars in collection need to downsize. not many chances come up to own a super nice completed 71 spoiler and its very hard to do a full resto on one these days Questions call Brandon
