1957 VW OVAL BEETLE VINTAGE SPEED JUDSON SUPERCHARGER 356 OKRASA PETRI ABARTH

This 57 Oval Bug I imported from Sweden in 2008. I have body off restored it. with a sympathetic touch to keep its looks somewhere between patina and rat. Chasis wise. you could eat your dinner off it. the original pans had minimal repairs and were then POR 15 coated. A couple of localised repairs were made to the body and it was all mated back together with new parts throughout including; shocks. dual circuit brakes and  lines. fuel lines. nbsp; cables. rubbers. grommets. stainless steel fixings etc etc. The full story of the resto can be found here;

You are looking at an Oval with its original heater channels. valences. wings. engine. gearbox etc. I have the birth certificate from VW to prove the spec and original engine and chassis.  It also has the addition of some desirable vintage kit which includes; 356a front brakes. Judson Supercharger and Magneto. Fram / Okrasa oil filter and cooler set up. original Petri with original golden lady horn button. VDO rev counter. Ra Bambus. 356 steelies with 5. 5 inch rears and one off 4 inch fronts shod with Firestone 205 70 15 F560s and Michelin 135 ZX respectively.  I could waffle on. but I`ll leave it for you to come and have a look for yourself.

Do not expect a super shiny fresh paint resto. This Oval has been restored to preserve its originality and beautiful patina. which you cant buy in a can. I have left it a little tatty. coz thats the way I like it. this Oval is unique. not like all the other clones.

The bug is ready to go. cruise. and enjoy the Summer shows. The Judson Supercharger and Abarth four tip exhaust sound sweet. and it really goes so much better than the original 36hp. more like a 1500!

I have priced the Oval to sell. not sit around. you couldnt build one to this spec for the asking price. and thats if you could find all the parts! Just try to find and original Petri steering wheel with an original golden lady horn button. The price is ono but please dont make silly offers I dont need to sell that badly. and it wont hurt me to keep it through Summer.

The ONLY trade I would consider is for a T25 Bluestar / Redstar / Whitestar or LLE in excellent condition. Get in touch if you have one to trade and we will talk. but dont expect me to give money your way.
