The U.S. tariff was levied on European goods, such as light trucks, and effectively thwarted stateside Volkswagen commercial pickup and panel van imports. Far fewer Transporters made it over to the U.S than the famously popular Type II VW Bus. Every part on this VW Pickup was either replaced or rebuilt and has less than 800 miles since completion
