This vehicle was purchased in 1977 by the previous owner. He took delivery in Germany toured 2000 miles and had it shipped back to the US. I purchased it in 2008 it had 2300 miles We took it to classic car shows and had many good times with it and only put 500 miles on it. The car is basically new. not broken in yet. It has never set outside and mostly has been stored. I have retired now its someone elses turn to enjoy this car. Everything works and all is in new condition. To have an old VW restored cost about 29. 00 This is an old new car. I have the origional wheels and whitewall tires and you can still see the blue on the whitewalls. This car has never been repainted and the finish is as new.
