Following on from the highly successful and stunningly good looking Tr 4 the fuel injected Tr 5 was only in production for 13 months before the mass produced Tr 6 replaced it.
Total Uk cars built was around 1100 units so they have become highly sought after and rare collectors items during the past few years.
This Wedgewood Blue example is finished in its original colour and was delivered in the Uk around May 1968 complete with wire wheels and tonneau cover.
There is a good history file complete with a Heritage certificate. mots and service bills going back to the early 1980's.
She has received ongoing maintenance as necessary and looks resplendent with excellent panel fit . aintwork and finish.
These cars are great drivers cars with nearly 150 bhp and 900 kgs they are quick and the overdrive really provides a flexible and comfortable cruising speed.
