This is a replica of a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO.   If you want a car that turns heads every time it is driven down the street. this is the car for you.   Why pay for a new Corvette or Porsche when in two years it will look like a two year old Corvette or Porsche.   This car stuns people today and it will continue to stun people 5 years from now.   I show the car and it regularly brings home a trophy.   This is a kit that was made in the mid 80's and was called the "Alpha GT".   It was made in Huntington Beach. CA.   The car was such a good replica that Ferrari sued the builder and forced him to stop production.    It is based on a 1977 Datsun 280Z chassis.   The car is registered as a 1977 Datsun 280Z.   The engine and running gear are Datsun 280Z.   Starting from back to front. here are some of the major modifications.   Fuel Cell. Rear Disk Brakes. Complete Interior Sound Dampening. Custom Intake Manifold. MegaSquirt Open Source Fully Programmable Fuel Injection / Engine Managment System. Ford EDIS Ignition. 6 into 1 equal length exhaust header with 2 1/2" collector and exhaust. Ported and Polished Intake and Exhaust Ports.   High Performance Cam. Electric Coolant Pump.   This is one heck of a boulevard cruiser.   The exhaust tone is very smooth but throaty.   The engine. intake. exhaust and fuel system have been highly modified and will not pass the smog test in some states such as California.   Before buying check your state's smog laws to find out if it can be legally registered in your state.
