previously owned by an elderly lady named Margaret. she acquired the vehicle on 14-09-1992 right up to 09-04-2013 the v 5 logbook states this.

Margaret is now in a care home which is making it difficult for me t to source the history therefore I am selling the car with no history with every chance I source it. however you only have to see the condition of the interior to see that the mileage is most certainly genuine.

over the past 23 years of its life. it has escaped falling in the wrong hands. never been molested or abused in anyway. in 1994 there was 8. 99 on the road. in 2001 there was 4. 76 left. in 2004 there was 969 remaining. in 2009 there was 164 remaining.

in 2011 there was 91 remaining . in 2012 there was only 63 remaining

Margaret only used the car locally to the shops and back. quite ironic really how an elderly lady ended up with the GTE and not the 1. 2 merit? anyway. the last 5 years of Margaret's ownership the GTE didn't turn a wheel. it was parked on her driveway. sadly backed up to a bush which made the rear boot floor and back box of the exhaust rust. Obviously this had to get put right for the mot. i bought a new exhaust for the car and had the welding done. I then had the car fully serviced. fresh oil. oil filter. spark plugs. air filter etc.
