CLASSIC VAN
This is a very original Fordson Van.
Last on the road 1993 believed to be either ex British Waterways or the Police then used as light delivery vehicle obviously needs further investigation.
If you haven't seen a Fordson on the road as there arent many about -this is a good size and can be used for your deliveries or classic motorcycle that will fit in the back.
Will fit into a single garage easily
COULD BE MADE INTO A SHOW WINNER OR ADVERTISING VAN AS PART OF YOUR BUSINESS
This is the 1953 model
Bodywork is in very good condition either use as is or repaint in your preferred choice.
Has had signs on door and van at some stage but no longer visible.
On one side it has a wooden sign board on the other it has no board – see photos
All wings are good
Bonnet is good
Doors are good
Chassis and underneath needs no work
Interior in good original condition
Roof is vinyl and needs a small patch on front
drivers side corner – Material supplied for this.
Seats are excellent.
Drives nicely and brakes just like a 1953 van should.
Engine starts easily. has a small weep from a radiator hose and will try and fix this before sale.
All tyres and wheels are good all instruments work.
Crack in windscreen easy replacement with flat glass.
All original mirrors and door steps
NO MOT OR TAX REQUIRED
Cant find V 5 put on Swansea register JUST GO DOWN TO DVLA AND pay £25 show your insurance and you can tax it ready for the road. Though you may want to take it easy as its not been used for at least 30 years just “tinkered with “ in a dry garage.
This is a superb example of an unmolested Fordson van that rarely come up for sale in this condition they are usually bought by Customisers
