1991 Volkswagen MK2 Jetta Coupe 2 Door Rare European Only Model Left Hand Drive for sale

1991 Volkswagen MK2 Jetta Coupe 1300cc and 4 speed manual gearbox. rare European only model so is left hand drive.
Lowered on AP coilovers. selling with BBS RA's as shown.
Purchased with the aim of installing a 1. 9 tdi (MK3 1Z) engine but due to a change of plans. unfortunately has to go.
Fitted with a sweet little 1. 3 multi-point injection engine from the factory. good mpg and has just had a thorough overhaul at Turner Race Developments in Strouddue to it previously burning a bit of oil. New piston rings. nbsp;head gasket. head re-built with new valve guides/seals. skimmed etc. now runs even better!! Full service and cambelt. Also fitted a new starter motor. front discs (only thing needed for the MOT)
Interior is mint. considering this is a 100K plus car the seats etc are in amazing condition. no obvious wear. rear seats look like they have rarely. if ever been used.
Paintwork has a tendency to go a bit milky (typical red VW) but with a bit of effort comes up just lovely as the photograph shows with the Jetta on 16" 1552 Snowflakes
at Castle Coombe in October 2012 Other than a few age related marks here and there the car overall has no issues.
This is a little jem of a car and a joy to drive.
Currently has no road tax and is registered SORN
