1936 MORRIS 12/4 SERIES II DELUX SALOON.
Lovely original pre-war Morris. My car since 2006 but not being used and too many other project cars to take care of.
Very tidy authentic condition. some minor scratches and blemishes but overall very good exterior condition.
Interior has original headlining and seats. all instruments working as they should. Art Deco Bakelite trim in good order.
Engine starting and running well. although running a bit rich. probably due to SU Carb worn jet/needle ( will try to tune better before end of auction).  I checked cylinder compressions today. they are 114/115/118 and 115psi.  
Transmission seems fine. no untoward noises. clutch is good. gears selecting smoothly.
The original 1936 sale documentation comes with the car.
Mileage believed to be genuine. I have MOT's going back to 1983 and a letter from a previous owner stating that the car was owned by One family until 1983.
The sliding head sunroof is sound and watertight but would benefit from a new covering.
The interior carpets are worn but not too bad. if I was keeping the car I would probably fit a new set.
The Jackall system is present and correct but currently inoperative. I think one of the hydraulic lines has been severed.


Car is situated in Central Scotland. Viewing is encouraged.
Funds must be cleared prior to removal of the car. Cash on collection preferred.
Deposit of £200 required within 24hrs of sale.

Forgot to mention. Car is fitted with flashing indicators for safety but original indicators are in good working order.
