VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Intro

I love the rare cars. & this is definitely one of them. Not sure how many left but somewhere between 20 - 40. Can anyone help on this? It surprises me the way these are currently so undervalued. MK1 RS2000 for instance that there are many many more of are £20k+ for one in this condition. So this could be that little gem that makes a wise investment. with a good return on future value.

Restoration

There are over 120 photo's on file of the restoration.

The car is on it's origional shell. however very much replaced. All new floor pans. wings. rear quarters etc etc etc where replace. Many original Ford panels where sourced which are now hard to get hold of.

The body was stripped entirely of everything & all new panels welded in place after the shell was shot blasted.

Body

Painted in unmarked red with no blemishes. The sides are now straight as the day they left the factory. No marks. no bubbles. no rust etc etc. The underside of the car is also painted. along with ancillaries & could be argued that it is as good as the top.

Engine

The engine bay is all painted. the engine was all cleaned up & painted. along with all ancillaries. Looking very good in that area now. The engine itself is running very quiet with no smoke. tappeting etc etc.

Interior

The interior by choice had a recaro style front seat re-trimmed in Supersport cloth. Retaining the original back seats. They are in excellent condition.

Summary

Probably one of the best of the Supersports now left in existence that are in my opinion going to rise in value. Fords are always a popular car & when they start getting this rare you can't go wrong.
