These early 'Ripple' 2cv vans are really becoming very valuable now - one has just changed hands for £18. 00. So. this one is well worth restoring. The bodyshell is really lovely and sound and has a lovely early dealer transfer on the dash and the max carrying weight still inside the cab - lovely original touches that so much add to the final restoration. You might be able to save the chassis. but I suspect that the easiest and quickest way to restore this beauty is to fit a new chassis - easily available in the UK and cheaper than you might expect. The engine/gearbox will require a rebuild but that isn't difficult on these. I can supply a huge number of spares to go with the van. including a later 602cc engine if you want to update it and give it some more power. View if you can; I am in Surrey. Call 0771 203 1656.
