Located in PORTLAND, OREGON. With one of the longest production runs of any car ever made (1938-1990), the Citroen 2 CV was the Ford Model T of France. Simple, lightweight and reliable, they brought motoring to the masses and today have a strong following of collectors worldwide who still appreciate their simplicity and style. This Citroen 2 CV was sold new in Paris in 1969 and has a known history from new. 3 owners. The second owner in Canada sold it to the current owner in Portland, Oregon in 2006. The car has always been beautifully maintained and today shows just 87,184 kilometers ( 54,173 miles ) on the odometer, which are believed to be correct. Maintained for the past 25 years by a personal mechanic and stored in a climate-controlled showroom, it has been run regularly and over the years has participated in several car tours around the Northwest, always performing well. The 602 cc, 2 cylinder engine runs great with no smoke or issues. 4-speed column-mounted manual transmission shifts well. Brakes stop smooth and straight. Always serviced as needed. All gauges work.
