1943 Dodge Command Car for sale

World War II Military vehicle built on a Dodge Power Wagon chassis.   Known in the military as a W-56.   These vehicles were built only in 1942/43 and few survive.   Dodge flathead 6 engine. 4-speed transmission. high and low range transfer case.

This is a very authentic example and shows some battle scars and motor pool repairs. overall excellent and very ORIGINAL.   No rust. ever.   This vehicle has had maintenance but has not been restored.   Always stored indoors.   Starts easy. runs good. shifts fine.   Everything works.   Complete rebuild on the brake system in 2011.   Top and side curtains are in good but not great condition.

Combat wheels included with the sale. they are mounted with vintage tires and are in very good and roadworthy condition.  Road wheels were added by the previous owner due to State DOT regulations for registration purposes.

Comes complete with jerry cans and tool kit as pictured.
