Finished in gold over black. this near half-century old American classic has been a local San Jose. California car since new with blue license plates front and rear [custom redone in black]. It has 56. 44 miles on the working five-digit odometer [STRONGLY BELIEVED TO BE ACCURATE!] and sports a freshly rebuilt 400 cubic inch engine and automatic transmission [by Victory machine shop in San Jose less than 5. 00 miles ago]. brand new tires. brakes. suspension components and shocks. Note: It currently sports the Holley 750 carb with Performer manifold but also includes original parts for new owner. This very dry. 99. 9% rust-free GTO features bucket seats. extra gauges. updated CD stereo with ipod cable and is being sold with clear and clean California title with current registration.

THE BODY AND TRIM

The exterior of this car is in 99. 99% rust-free very good to excellent condition overall. The car received one repaint in te past in a close-to-original gold color. All of the chrome and trim is in very good condition. There is one rear fender trim piece missing currently [I MIGHT have that in my garage].

THE INTERIOR

The interior of this GTO is mostly all original quite good to excellent original overall. The bucket seat upholstery is in excellent condition [a couple panels have been replaced in the past] along with a new headliner.

The carpeting. dash and door panels are all in very good condition. All gauges. lights. blinkers. horn and controls work as they should. NOTE: this car has NO a/c. the heater blower works but the lines are not currently connected. Even inside the trunk is all intact and original with the jack stickers still intact on the deck lid.

THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE

In classic American tradition. this is one thundering beast to drive! From the ultra torquey 400 cubic inch 6. 5 liter V 8 engine with excellent acceleration to the direct shifting three speed automatic transmission to the nicely weighted unassisted steering

to the solid traditional suspension. this is one cool 47 year-old classic to motor down the open road!
