Hello. this is an Austin k 9 4 x 4 army truck. I have owned it since 29-01-11 and done lots of work to it. It has the original engine and gear box and has an ‘lpg' kit on with large tank (see pic) It is a 4 L petrol in line six and runs sweet as a nut. When I got the truck it had the radio rear body on which I still have and this is in with the sale. It is interchangeable with a flatbed which I made as it was more useful at the time. Both bodies are in good order. the radio body has 4 windows with fly screens. hard wood floor. and steps etc as standard The truck is on the road and is taxed till next march. t is MOT and TAX exempt. I only use it now and again so this makes it cheap to run. The cab on the truck is very good. all windows go up and down and all lights work.

The negative points about the truck is that the horn has stopped working. lpg was working when I got the truck however I had to move the tank and wire ring so there's probably something wrong to do with wires. I've not really looked as I like to run it on petrol and that runs fine. Wipers need sorting out . I think it's a fuse or some sort of electrical fault. but you can still use it manually. Also the gear box. third gear jumps out some times when under strain up hills .

All in all it's in very good condition but needs some tlc. I was going to pull the engine and box out and put a tdi land rover engine & box in. but it's a shame to do this as it is an original truck. I'm not really using it now so I'm selling it on to the next man to do abit more on it. I got this Truck from Ipswich and at the time it was stood in a field and I have brought it back to life. it is a great looking truck with a good reg number so I hope there is someone out there who likes it as much as I do.
