Ford Escort Mk 1 Lotus Twin Cam Its in exceptional condition. registered in February 1970 on a "H" registration This car is very original. never been raced or rallied Genuine original shell unlike the other Twin Cam thats listed on ebay at the moment !
Its has the traditional Ermine white paintwork which is in great condition I have recently spent £5800 inc vat on re upholstering the interior which included new headlining. carpet and seat covers. door cards. parcel shelfs and new glass all round. This work was done to a very good standard. What makes this rare Twin Cam even rarer is that it has never been raced or rallied like so many have. It was purchased for road use. the first owner when ordering there Twin Cam paid a additional £280 for a full length "Webasto" slide back sunroof This is a original Twin Cam with a BB 49** Chassis It has never been re shelled like some The car is known to the AVO club. I have a AVO certificate from 1989 confirming the car I have the V 5 (Logbook)It has a full years MOT. have lots of old MOT also It has a full years tax (albeit free as its a classic)Car has been garaged for the last 20 years or so at least It starts. runs. stops very well Best of all is its sound !
