You are looking at my 1978 Holden HZ Premier. It is a 4. 2 ltr V 8 Australian muscle car. It has many GTS Monaro parts/equipment fitted to give it a Monaro look.
I brought this car back with me from Australia in 2006. At the time it was the only one in the UK. but I now believe it is one of a pair. It was my daily driver in Perth. Western Australia. where I owned it for just under a year. I am currently about to start work on building a new family home and unfortunately. the Holden has to go to release some much needed funds.
I have carried out alot of work to the car since purchasing it.
Lowering springs.
Custom made "Indy Dragway" wheels. 8 x 14" fronts and 10 x 14 rears.
Custom made twin exhaust system with 3" stainless tips.
Holly 800 Carby professionally jetted and set up.
K&N air filter.
Electronic ignition.
GTS Monaro steering wheel and badges.
Trimatic 3 speed auto gearbox rebuild with sports shift kit and high stall torque converter.
High ratio reconditioned LSD diff.
The car comes with a whole host of spares.
Brake pads and shoes.
Full engine gasket kit.
Brand new Koni adjustable dampers.
Poly bush kits.
GTS Monaro front splitter and weld in wing grills.
Permabag storage system.
Mechanically. the car is in A 1 condition and drives superb. Obviously it is now 35 years old and begining to show its age cosmetically. As I have tried to show in the pictures. the paintwork on some of the panels is starting to bubble up. The bottom half of the rear L/H door paintwork has faded/dulled. as has the front grill/headlight surround. The bonnet is not a great colour match to the rest of the car and has a slight scratch/dent. The drivers seat has a tear in the leather.
I have tried to be as honest as possible and will be happy to answer any further questions any of you may have.
