LJ torana S sedan 6cyl 3 speed column manual 11/1972 rare factory frost blue.. 568-13133 glacier white roof..568-13134 with flax trim...1309-48E car runs drives & stops, fullmatching numbers car, all tags intact & never removed, original engine, Adelaide build, inland Vic. country car all it's life from my knowledge, speedo reading 43,545 miles I don't know if it has turned the clock? would say very low miles as still has original front muffler.Body is very straight, doesn't looks great in pics as paint wearing through in many areas & looks different shades all over the place, but car has nice sharp body lines, still in fair bit of original paint, all the brown patches coming through is the original primer, may have had a outer paint at some stage but as mentioned all paint worn very thin, no dodgy repairs or been in any major accidents, prior to me purchasing the car it had no major rust repairs or panel repairs, car is not full of filler, I have replaced the front valance, inner was very good, & replaced both outer sills (inner sills were also both very good) & rust repaired in upper sill / scuff plate areas, these areas have had metal repairs only, no filler or paint so you can see repairs done, both front floor pans have also been done properly (old one's could have been patched up but replacing the whole pans just looks neater) done properly spot welded back to rails etc. seam sealed / all cabin floor etch primed, rails are in great condition, bottom of front driver side front guard has had new lower section fitted, rear parcel shelf is uncut & in very good original condition, rear wheel arches are very good, new spare wheel well is tack welded in place as the very bottoms (not inner on p/s) of the rear quarters need doing, have a bit of rust in bottom inner doors not major & not in outer door areas, also inner boot lid, other than that the car pretty good, still needs a couple of smaller rust areas doing, but the hard / expensive rustrepair work has been done, original boot floor pretty good couple very small repairs needed, no flared / lipped guards, no rear quarters replaced, no sunroof holes, no replaced front clip etc. etc. or any other body modifications, very good door pillars, around front & rear screens pretty good with couple of small visible rust spots around bottom of rear screen, nothing major, all bumpers, mouldings, grill badges, glass etc. in pretty good original condition, car is mostly in it's complete original state, all 3 tags intact & never removed with matching inner panel stamping, all original panels, all doors open /close all windows wind up / down.Interior rare FLAX colour is original but very shabby / sunburnt but all there, except carpet removed, all seats, door trims, visors etc. headlining will need re-doing.Mechanically engine runs very well, it's theoriginal 6cyl 138 red motor (documented) 3 speed manual column shift, just had all new wheel cylinders fitted & master cylinder, also has new petrol pump fitted, drum brakes all around, as mentioned car runs / drives / stops but no great distance (onto a trailer not back to Sydney) car has been of the road for quite a few years.****************HOIST AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION In my opinion car is about as original as you will get & all in all an honest complete, very straight, matching numbers car that hasn't been painted 5 times & had repairs on repairs, great starting point for a project in pretty rare factory colour scheme combo, this car is a great base with no nasty surprises, great for restoration / project, or just park it in the shed as is & I am sure it will be worth considerably more in the future, I would just keep it myself but I am out of room & have other priorities.*any further questions or to arrange an inspection forward me your details & I will get back to you asap*please if it's not within your budget give it a miss, I want too but don't have too sell it.*I know a bit about cars & what there worth so please save your time & mine if you plan to come out run the car down & make lowball offers you are wasting your time, I am just not interested at all.*I want close to my asking price so a bit room for negotiation.*car may be advertised elsewhere & may be removed from ebay at any time.*car will not leave my property till paid in full & funds clear.
