This is Rosie. she has just been imported from Cyprus. She is currently undergoing an MOT retest where she failed on Suspension rubbers and rear lights. The Van has not been registered with DVLA yet. it is awaiting proof of (1972) age from VW in Germany for UK TAX free status. (Do not assume it is tax free yet) All import duties have been paid.
This VW has been worked on by myself for the past 4 years. This included a complete top to bottom engine overhaul with new bearings. eads. ifters. ylinders and gaskets. New carb last year). Ive driven no more than 2000 miles since the rebuild. Lots of work was completed(too much to list but i have more photos of specific areas of the restore if you wish to see them) The Van was previously an Ambulance.
It has surface rust under neath. but this does helps you see the good condition of the metal underneath. It will need to be undersealed for the UK weather.
The rear has plenty of camping storage. there is no sink. The bed gets made up using wood to bridge the gap in the seats. In the back there is a roof fan. cigarette lighter and speakers. The van comes with a large tent type awning with camp beds and mossie nets.
BAD POINTS
Some of the rust around the window has come back in one corner (See Photo)The Roof needs sorting then a respray (See Photo)Slight transmission leak underneath (I think) Level was checked ok not so long ok. Window seals on the sides and back need replacing (I have a complete set of seals to give you worth 200 pounds)

You need to come and look this camper. Its not showroom standard but shes solid with a good engine and ready for camping. Im selling as I have no more time to work on her. at this price shes good investment in my opinion.
