Ordered by Mr W. E. Hesselton of Marsh Lane. London. NW5 through H. R. Owen and delivered on 24th November 1970. this Aston Martin DBS V8 was completed to fuel injected Saloon specification for Switzerland. Built with right-hand drive. a 3. 31 rear axle ratio. Smiths speedometer in KPH. Pirelli radial tyres and Swiss lighting. chassis DBSV8/10057/RC was finished in Burnt Almond with Champagne Connolly hide. Fawn carpet and Natural headliner.
Non-standard equipment included air-conditioning. Fiamm horns. Pirelli radial tyres. Swiss lighting. a wing mirror to drivers door. 12-pints of anti-freeze. a Waso steering lock and fitment of the Owners special radio aerial. After delivery. it returned to the factory in November 1970 for snow tyres. March 1971 for new air-conditioning matrix and then from May 1971 to October 1971 for repairs after a collision that damaged the rear end. Subsequent factory service work was carried out in November 1971. June 1972. January 1973. July 1973 and November 1973.
Exported to Australia in the mid 1970's. the car obviously benefitted from a warm dry climate as structurally it is very good. Cosmetically and mechanically the car rates as good but there is no doubt it would benefit from some general all-round expenditure. However. with prices for the best DBS's now comfortably exceeding £100. 000. this car is priced to allow the new owner plenty of scope for improvement. Retaining its original matching numbers engine (V540/064) and gearbox (3038/2812). the car was MOT'd on 25th October 2013 with no advisories.

Comments and questions to the seller:
from andre bühlig, dated 08 february 2014dear sirs,. My name is Andre Bühlig from Germany. I am interested in the Aston Martin V 8 from your inventory - the green. your asking price is € 37,000. I have some questions:
1) If a recent survey is available. Which classic data condition note has the car ?
2) when was the last service. Is there evidence?
3) which komponeten were changed or renewed in this service ?
4) is, in their view, the full reduction required in Germany, in its current state possible ?
5) do you know whether certain techn. components of the car must be changed in next time ?
6) what have I consider when the car will be imported into Germany ?
viewed from a far I would see the value of the car at € 35,000. is this an option for you. if so I would like to come to them on 16.2.2014.
Kind regards
A.Bühlig
