1962 Aston Martin DB 4 Series III Saloon Factory Left-Hand Drive and Original 1962 New York Show Car
This DB 4 was originally delivered in November 1961 by Cyrus L. Fulton of Lancaster, Ohio through U.S. importer J.S. Inskip and according to factory records was the 1962 New York Show Car. Finished in Fiesta Red over Fawn Connolly hides, it featured a Motorola radio, chrome wheels, and overdrive. Two service notes are included in the factory record indicating that by the end of July, 1962, Fulton had driven 5,380 miles since acquiring the car. Little is known about the interim history of the car but it eventually made its way into the garage of Stanfordville, New York farmer Mark Blodgett. The previous owner acquired the car in October of 2007. The subject of a repaint in what appears to be the original color and an interior retrim in tan with red piping, the car otherwise appears to be mostly original down its Motorola radio. On static display for the last 12 years, a mechanical recommissioning is advised prior to active use. Offered with copies of an owner's handbook and workshop manual. Once serviced, this sporty Aston Martin will make for an excellent touring car, eligible for numerous great events.
