Coffin Nose Customs 2014 Coffin Nose Speedster

What you see is the latest street rod reincarnation of one of the most iconic designs in automotive history.
Our Coffin Nose Speedster is an homage to the original Cord 810. Closely based on a 1936 Cord Sportsman coupe convertible. the Coffin Nose Speedster retains the essence of the original car while updating it for the 21st century. Our Coffin Nose hood has been pie-sliced and lowered to give the car a custom profile. Inner fenders have been widened to accommodate modern wheels with widths up to 14”. Our custom cast windshield frames sit low for a contemporary look. Much as the original model incorporated a unit built body to simplify construction. our Coffin Nose Speedster integrates the entire body and fenders into a single molded piece. Unlike its unit constructed predecessor. the Coffin Nose Speedster rides atop a rigid custom built tubular steel frame. The melding of classic and contemporary styling begets a truly unique modern street rod. We sincerely hope you find our efforts to have succeeded in channeling the spirit of our classic forebear into the new Coffin Nose Speedster.

This listing is for a body-only kit!

Our Body Only Package includes the following:

from Dan Brennan, dated 16 january 2016
Hi - I was wondering if this reproduction was built with the same wheelbase and track width as the original, although I do see the fenders have been widened out. I have a rolling chassis from an S10 truck I've been thinking about putting a fiberglass car on. Also would this body have to be shipped from the UK, or is it in the US already? Thanks

from John Braun, dated 27 september 2015
