1971 Triumph TR-6 Roadster

Pleased to offer this more desirable short bumper 1971 Triumph TR6 Roadster. Beginning with a Western solid and well preserved Low Mileage original example, the second owner for over 20-years has painstakingly restored this car at tremendous expense. $35,000.00 in receipts and $10,000.00 just spent to prepare the car for the marketplace. 

The Exterior presents itself with straight body panels and good body panel fit with  original Body Panel components.  The Clear Coat paint work is bright and lustrous. Part of the recent vehicle prep included  professional touch up work, and a time consuming cut and buff. Exterior Trim items are a mostly well preserved original or replaced as needed, rubber seals etc. The just installed Convertible Top gives the car a fresh appearance and compliments the factory correct Windshield recently installed. Wheels have been restored will original trim rings in excellent condition, the rims themselves have been Clear Coat Painted and baked,  and the Center Caps have been replaced. Amazing to see the original Tail Light lenses in such good shape. This is an indicator that the foundation of this build was a car in good shape to begin with. Most would observe this car to be in excellent condition and very nicely restored. 

The Vehicle Interior shows to be completely restored and in excellent condition. The Radio needs to be replaced and left unaddressed in anticipation the new owner will choose His or Her own Sound System of preference. The Trunk area is nicely finished out as well. 

Inspection underneath the Bonnet will reveal extreme attention to detail that insures a very fresh and Factory original Engine Bay appearance.  

When reviewing the receipts you will be amazed at all littlest of things replaced, such as seals, Body Bumpers you name it.  It's the little things that count in a complete restoration. The Owner's goal was a high quality  Driver with stunning looks and that was most certainly achieved. The lifetime Paint and Body industry owner achieved his goal and was always in restoration mode during his ownership. Basically never driven which means the new owner will have a freshly restored Triumph !

Attention Bidders : It has come to my attention from one of the Bidders that rusty frames are a big concern on these cars, and particularly the areas where the Crossmembers join to the Trailing Arms. Never gave rust a second thought as this is a dry Climate Arizona/California car. Also in response to a Bidder's concern .......  There is no knocking sound when shifting through the gears. Rear Differential Mounting Points are solid on this TR6. I really appreciate all of this interaction I am receiving from fellow Triumph enthusiasts !
