1958 early high hinged double door panel van, in good solid condition, tho it might not look it.

It has a 2175 cc Dan Simpson built engine, approx 140 bhp.

Rick Wright built prostreet gearbox with race axels and larger type 3 drums, all new at the back. It has willwood disk brakes at the front and also has a servo. All of the running gear and servo were professionally installed by vw Jim.

It's lowered on adjustable plates at the back and the front has a narrowed Wagons west beam and 5 in dropped spindles, It can go a lot lower if wanted.

The interior has a rock n roll bed with seatbelts and small bench in the back, a bench in the front and all trimmed in buttoned tweed. Alpine head unit with amp and sub under the small bench, all run off a leisure battery.

This is a really good early van that drives great, it drove us to le bug, Spa and never missed a beat. It sits at 65 mph happily and pulls up hills in 4 th.
