MORRIS MINOR 2 DOOR £1000's SPENT ON PARTS,,INTERESTING EASY PROJECT

Reluctantly up for sale to a very sudden and unexpected change in our circumstances Please read... as this is a fantastic chance to own a lovely Morris Minor 1000, year 1969okay hear we go !I recently purchased this little gem to finish and keep,but things suddenly changed business wise and she has to go.why is she unique?? read on.As far as I know. In 2016 she passed her MOT with a couple of advisories and a comment on corrosion underneath!She appears to be solid underneath but with rust that would benefit from wire brushing and wax oiling, no holes or nasty bits.I think she may at that time have been sold then to the person I got her from ????He told me everything had been done and only a couple of places on inner wings could do with platingbut please view as I have not had time to check her on a ramp, things have taken over and she must go.Anyway the previous owner to me decided to restore her, i have to think with all good intentions but told me he lost interest!!!I have receipts for parts totalling just under £3000, I was told by him they had spent over £6000 on her.She was stripped out and everything bought new..full interior,(may have used original seat frames? but seats front and back door cards all interior trimming including headlining and carpetsNew Heated front ScreenNew Heated Rear ScreenNew Glass rubbersNew outside sun visorNew chrome sill covers (cellophane still on and never removed!)Luggage rackNew batteryNew full exhaust systemNew RadiatorNew Brake Servo (the upgrade from standard brakes to Servo assisted)New Brake pipesNew/ upgrade from cable clutch to hydraulic (I think they were cable?)New chrome parts,..over riders, hubcaps not sure about bumpers but other bits as well.He told me the Chairman of the Morris club had sprayed her, this I don't know and have not had time to confirm.Tow bar fitted to look the part.Some parts in the boot that I have not even had time to look at.Now what wants doing !!!!!!Well although things were no doubt done with good intention butthe interior wants taking out and the glass taking out andthe headlining fitting properlythe carpets fitting properlythe glass put back and fitted properlywheels painting Old English Whitethe brakes are zero so need bleeding or looking at but its new fitted in 2017???Exhaust retaining clamps fitted (it is on but not well) I have new clampsDoors hung properly (they are sticking)some wiring as front and rear screens not wired infront spotlights not wired up and loose wires in drivers glove box!I fitted a new water pump as soon as I got her home as the original was grinding well.No work appears to have been done under the bonnet so a clean and paint would be good. and a couple of patches.She start well and gears all work and without doubt if we had not had a sudden change in our lives all this i would have done and she would be a lovely show Morris MinorThe paintwork is good showing the odd part that could be touched in but also wants a good polishI imagine she stood for a couple of years untouched as interest was lost, but this is a car that has all new stuff that wants fitting properly so a simple cheap rebuild She is registered as a Historic Vehicle in my name (got the V5 today)She is MOT and Tax Exempt so with the brakes done she could be a driving re build as she is solid and good.PLEASE COME AND VIEW AS THEN YOU WILL SEE FOR YOURSELFEverything is my opinion and we are all differentMore picture can be sent if requested.someone will have a car worth double if completed properlyDelivery can be arranged at £1 per mile one way, so if your 90 miles away its £90Contact information can be found lower down follow the tab.
