Presented in opalescent silver-blue and one of just seven new
Martin Robey flat-floor bodied. FIA compliant E-Types. this example
has undergone £150. 00+ refurbishment and race configuration in the
last 10 years with great emphasis on attention to detail and
quality. All parts have been restored or replaced and a substantial
history file. including receipts from the UK's leading E-Type
specialists including Southern classics for an astonishing
£127. 82. 37. accompanies the motorcar as does a documented race
history. Imported back to the UK in 1999. this Series I has had
just two owners since with the present vendor taking ownership in
2002 and has treated it like the prize possession it has been for
him.

Race-ready for various competition levels. this unique roadster. br/>complete with FIA Papers. is also road legal and MoT tested until
May 2015. The Halda Tripmaster for historic racing is present as is
the Historical Technical Passport from the German DMSB which was
renewed in 2013 and adds the barcode Decal . necessary now to match
the car. It can race under E-Type Homologation 34 under Period E as
well as E-Type Homologation 100 under period F as it conforms
technically to the first but also has the modern safety kit for the
second. Provenance as to its race pedigree and its participation in
a number of events across Europe is as follows;-

• The Monte Carlo Rally Historique where it competed
twice
• The Monza Coppa Historica in 2011 and 2012
• AVD Old timer Grand Prix 400km Marathon Race at the
Nürburgring
• Twice at the HSCC Guards Trophy
• The E-Type Challenge in 2011. 2012 and 2013 finishing 4th. br/>2nd with 2nd class wins
• The Spa Summer Classics and the Snetterton Autosport three
hours in 2010. 2011 and 2013

Also. below is a brief overview. but not the entirety. of its
specification…

Under the bonnet is a Rob Beere complete race engine. rebuilt
with up-rated cylinder head and additional oil-cooling for head. br/>lightweight alternator and starter motor. racing specification
pedal box and triple SU carburettors with ITG Custom air box and
filters coupled to a racing transponder system (hard-wired) and
Jaguar four-Speed. all synchromesh gearbox

The body is one of seven new Martin Robey flat-floor bodies with
a fully integrated roll-cage and lightened bonnet with lightweight
catch. Lexan headlight covers. which are race compliant. safety
fuel and electric pull switches. Perspex side windows with unique
open and close system and a road legal. but race-type recessed. br/>alloy fuel filler cap with ultra bright LED race rear light
compliment the race specification.

AVO adjustable suspension has been added front and rear. Mk. IX
brakes including Dunlop race specification brake callipers. uprated
rear differential with extra stiff torsion bars and MWS chrome
wheels. Inside. it has floor-mounted standard seats with custom
made frames with a completely rebuilt heating and cooling system
including a plumbed-in fire extinguisher system and emergency fuel
and electric cut-off switches. all finished off with a Moto-Lita
steering wheel. A gooseneck co-driver LED light. co-driver large
convex rear view mirror and four-point harnesses complete the
necessary FIA specification.

To replicate this car today would cost in excess of £200. 00. br/>including buying a suitable car. We are informed that it drives
exceptionally and gets positive attention where ever it goes. The
panel fit is superb. the brightwork is beautiful and with
substantial provenance. this car represents a very shrewd
investment when compared to other Series I's and even more so. when
compared to other race prepared cars.
