1960 MORRIS MINOR SALOON 'VALERIE' ~ FULL RESTORATION ~ READY TO SHOW & ENJOY! for sale

We have great pleasure in offering this lovely fully restored 948 cc Morris Minor 4 door Saloon affectionately known as 'Valerie' who was born in 1960 dressed in my favourite Almond Green coat complimented with green interior trim. "UNDERWENT A FULL RESTORATION MANY YEARS AGO TO A HIGH SHOW STANDARD COSTING THOUSANDS OF £££££'S". Semaphores fully working & lighting up. Nice 'banjo' steering wheel. Front seat belts have been retro fitted by the previous owner.
She starts on first pull of the starter (with a 'bit of choke') and runs very well indeed. Over sixty-one years young this sprightly moggy is tax exempt and very economical to insure under classic insurance (excellent for first time drivers). Historic tax (free of course). MOT exempt, though has an MOT until Jan 2022 for peace of mind.
Valerie was treated to a sympathetic full restoration which included a professional colour change respray that still presents very well today. No expense spared. Full photographic album included of the restoration journey.
Valerie still retains her original 'fully transferable' registration plate 'VDN 386' valued at £1500.
The floor pans, spring hangers, boot, engine bay and chassis are all in superb solid order throughout. Door gaps good and all door bottoms in great order, as you would expect at this level. Chrome bumpers, over-riders, hub caps & emblemishers in lovely order with no pitting. Wheels are superb with superb Bridgestone tyres all round.
Drives lovely (drove it 15 miles back to base today 22/9/21) with nice gearbox and clutch. Nice clean, clear oil. Everything works as it should with a super heater. Very clean engine bay.
