ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This VW Campmobile is fitted with the last and most efficient incarnation of the air cooled rear mounted engine – the 2. 0 litre horizontally apposed fuel injected engine producing 67 bhp.

This allows comfortable cruising and strong acceleration for daily use but still return an impressive 33. 6 mpg on unleaded fuel. (Source: 1977 VW Campmobile Brochure). The 4-speed fully synchronised transmission is widely spaced as per correct operation with a light and progressive clutch.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES.
Single piece steel wheels have been powder coated in matching body coloured Old English White with genuine VW chrome hubcaps which have a mirror finish.

Power assisted and pressure regulated disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear are on a dual circuit braking system offer impressive and confidence inspiring stopping power.

HISTORY FILE
Having lived a carefree life in sunny Los Angeles near Long Beach this vehicle entered UK shores in 2009 where it was subject to an extensive refurbishment programme.
