VW Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe 1972 1641cc Engine - Restored for sale

Hi. welcome to the sale of my long term project. unfortunately the time has come to have a clear out and start again (porsche 964 backdate). The karmann is a slightly lower and wider version of the standard coupe using drop spindles and rolled wheel arch repair panels to create a subtle but definitely different look. The original car had a good feel to it and as such the interior has been left as standard apart from the new carpet. it is a bit worn in places but fits well with the car overall. The engine was purchased second hand off a friend who had spent a small fortune on the likes of high lift cams. weighted crank. lightened fly wheel. p rated oil pump. balanced. twin 40 webbers. 4 into one exhaust. stainless back box etc.
The rest of the upgrades to make it drive well are as follows. krb gr 2 shocks front and back. nylon bush's. nylon engine/gearbox mounts. goodridge brake hoses. new pads. recon steering box. short shifter. stiffer heater channels. new clutch. 4 new tyres. new drive shaft gaiters. fresh oil and slick 50. electric fuel pump and regulator. electric water jets. extra quick starter motor. new battery. type 25 hot air blower. front and rear windscreen seals. door top trim.
