1968 Volvo S S

This 145 is a driving project. The car has a great start on the mechanical end of things. strong motor. good suspension. nice wheels. and fresh tires.

It needs a little help on the cosmetic side. there are a couple of small dent repairs that haven't been sprayed over yet.

The body is solid with no major body damage or rust at all. Someone with body and paint experience or someone willing to pay for a quick block. sand and re spray will have a nice car in the end. With the street cam. bored out B 20 and Weber the car is very fast around town. It cruises nicely on the highway in overdrive. I have not burned any oil since owning the car. the engine is very tight and starts on the first try every time.

The only must do mechanical issue that needs addressed is a fresh brake master cylinder. its weeping just a bit. I've just kept the fluid topped off every few months. just haven't gotten around to changing it out. Here's a list of the specs and work done.

rebuilt B 20 F block and head. IPD aluminum valve cover
freeze plugs installed in F head to allow the use of a Weber 2 barrel carb. Engine rebuilt with IPD big bore kit. Cylinder head ported and polished. Street camshaft Auxilary electric cooling fan Stock 5 blade fan still on. New alternator Runs great in the heat.

Custom exhaust.

Pertonix electronic ignition in distributor(no points)

M 41 OD Original Overdrive switch and steering column cover. *Very rare*

*BBS RS wheels **Very rare** and in great shape. I just had the wheels balanced and they are straight.

The car is lowered on rear lowering springs and cut front springs.

it handles very flat. no pitch or roll.

New tires

Bilstien shocks on all 4 corners

IPD sway bars

Polyurethane steering column bushings

GT instrument cluster. Rebuilt with red LED lighting

Nice interior. front and rear seats are in near perfect condition

previous owner installed homemade blue swedish plad door panels. actually looks kinda cool.

a complete set of OEM black door panels will go with the car

Needs minor paint work/touch up or quick re spray. I have touch up paint that will go to the new owner.

Very solid body.

Absolutley no underbody rust. nothing structural at all.
