1968 Volvo P1800s 4speed Original CA survivor car $6700 reserve faithful driver

This is a very good condition daily driver quality p1800 with a 4speed and working overdrive . It was originally from California till 2011 the shipped here to NY . I have original paperwork dating back from the second owner since 1973-2011 . It has been kept in good running order with replacement/upgrades as needed . Starting with the body it has minimum rust just starting at the edges of both rear wheel openings at the lowest point . There is some rust along the lower rear body under exhaust . It has a solid frame . floors . and rockers . Paint is average and has a fair amount of chips/scratches in it but presents itself well and has some shine in it . The rear bumpers were removed and are included in sale as well as what appears to be another newer set as well . Interior has had some light repair back in 1990 ( have a receipt ) with seats . headliner . and top dash pad and carpets replaced . The door panels are in poor condition but very nice original solid doors . All of the gauges are working that are mechanical . speedometer . oil temp . water temp . oil pressure . odometer . The tach and fuel gauge work most of the time  . that is because it needs a new ignition switch ( included is a new one with keys/original ones as well ) and ignition cylinder is turned manually to start it . All glass is very good and has new front and rear seals . as well as rear quarter window seals . There is a small dent on drivers front fender no broken paint . Engine runs very well . has rebuilt carb's . new fuel lines and fuel tank . Has new tune up and choke works properly and engine just runs steady and smooth . It shifts well and drives as it should as the front end has been rebuilt ( have original bushings/receipt ) back in CA . The wipers  work . all lights work as well . The lens is cracked on the left front side under headlamp ( have the chrome bezel with lens ) .   There was a trunk rack/body side moldings both removed as well and do not have . The fuel filler door so common to failure because of it's location and water damage has been replaced and a tight seal is now there but still needs paint to finish . All tires are good and matching and correct . There is a small amount of rust around battery box and most of the rust is surface not broken completely  through . The VIN # is clearly seen on the cowl and the original DATA plate is there . There are a few parts in trunk . and car is an honest car with a lot of original paperwork dating back to 1973 . I had a local reputable body shop est $800 to repair all rust/blend and polish whole car . It just needs some minor sorting out but a very good "bones " to start with .
