Vehicle Details
This is a rare 780 Bertone coupe in very good body/physical condition. Interior really nice. Exterior has minor paint scratches and imperfections, but no door dings or serious flaws. Looks "showroom quality" for a car of its age, in my opinion. I love this car, but must sell due to inability to identify motor temperature problem described below--which makes this a bit of a "project car" for its new owner--hence the LOW RESERVE. No cracks in dashboard. AC works great with a fresh charge. This was my dream car in 1987 (if I could have afforded it then) ... drives really nice when running (see note below). Have binder full of service records dating back to car's original purchase from Valley Volvo in California in October 1987. I purchased the car in 2016 from its 3 rd or 4 th owner in Oregon. I just know the right Volvo enthusiast can track down the engine gremlin described below and have a true showpiece for his/her collection
