The Morgan +4 was introduced in 1950 as a larger-engined ("plus") car than the 4–4. The +4 used the 2088 cc Standard Vanguard engine. while the 4–4 used a Standard Special 1267 cc engine (1950–58). Later +4 s used Triumph TR 2–TR 4 engines (1954–1969). Plus 4 production was suspended in 1969 but brought back in 1985 with a Fiat engine (1985–1988) and then a 4-cylinder Rover engine (1988–2000). Production was again suspended and the Plus 4 returned once more in 2004 with a 155 bhp (116 k W 157 PS) Ford 4-cylinder.
The vendor states that is a low mileage 1985 Plus 4 with Full Owner History. It is a rare 2 litre Fiat twin-cam engined (only 125 cars made) designed by Aurelio Lampredi. the ex-Ferrari engineer. The fuel injected 122 HP power plant makes this one of the most exciting and balanced post-war Morgans. This car has been cherished and well looked after. but with room for improvement. The paintwork is good. the leather interior is in good condition with no tears or rips. and it comes with a black hood. screens. tonneau cover. handbook and brochures. The car has a good Service History - the cam belt has recently been replaced. and there is 12 months MOT.
