Opportunity to purchase my Morgan 4/4 Competition 2 seater.  It was rebuilt about 3 years ago by an experienced race competitor, with many performance upgrades to make the car capable for competition use such as in sprints and hillclimbs, and the car is fully legal and great to drive on the road. Mechanically she has had a fortune spent, but the body was not attended to other than a respray so it is lived in!I purchased the car last year - I had not owned a Morgan for a number of years and fancied another - but we are looking to downsize so will not be able to keep the Morgan sadly, so it would be great if someone can use her for the purpose she was built for, or tidy her up to make a superb historic fast road car.Heritage certificate and registration document present in my name.  Originally supplied to John Dangerfield Sports Cars in Bristol, original resgistration number, owned by fashion designed John Rocha in Ireland, sold to a chap in Shrewsbury after being rebuilt before being purchased by me. Last MOT 2018, I had her checked over by. mechanic instead of getting an MOT (which is not required), free tax and low classic car insurance cost too.  It has the original handbook.I will give a flavour of the good and less good bits so you know what you will get:The car has had a total mechanical overhaul as well as all the safety things such as rear roll bar with lap and diagonal as well as full harness seat belts, fire extinguisher, front roll hoop, powder coated wheels and almost unworn Toyo tyres, 5 speed gearbox with quaife quick shift, dual circuit brakes, the cross flow engine is uprated and now 1760cc with twin 40DCOE carbs, hepolite pistons. 4 branch SS exhaust, electric fuel pump with cut off, cambered suspension, adjustable AVO shock absorbers (at rear too), cross tube support bars and uprated stub axles, T7 heater, steel rocker posts, duplex timing gear, twin throttle cables (etc. etc. I have a rebuild list of 86 items).  There is an air scoop, oil cooler, uprated oil pump, original bench seat, bumpers and steering wheel with the car but not fitted.  Good hood and side screens. Trickle charger with socket. Leather bonnet strap. As I say the body has not been refurbished, but seems solid.  A small amount of wood is missing from the frame by the drivers door hinge area, but this is compensated for by the front roll hoop, the rear view mirror is a suction type and regularly falls off (but there are door mirrors), and the brake pads that came with the car were competition ones that were too hard for road use, so are present but normal road pads are now on the car.  The fuel gauge under reads, and when I got the car the starter motor (which is new) would not always work - I traced this to an electrical issue with the plug that connects to loom, and I took that apart and reconnected and the issue has not recurred, but I cannot honestly say I traced the exact issue.  I have put some photographs in the ad so you can get a general flavour, but there is nothing that affect the enjoyment of the car or detract from her looks.A lovely fast historic car, mechanically superb, ideal for mild competition, and very much lived in is a good summary.  Would be a fun car for mild competition, or can be tidied up for a super historic Morgan - the club have plenty of events to enjoy.
